Professor Ir Rosdiadee Nordin
Professor Ir Dr Rosdiadee Nordin's research focuses on next-generation wireless communications. At the international level, he is ranked among the World's Top 2% Scientists (Elsevier). He has received the Leadership in Innovation Fellowship, a technopreneur program under the Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom, in 2021 and 2023. Additionally, he serves as a Research Associate at The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). Nationally, he is the recipient of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM), a prestigious award from the Academy of Science Malaysia, in 2020. Beyond his work in wireless communications, he advocates for science communication through popular article writing. He is the chief editor for esti.my, an online magazine to rekindle younger readers' interest in STEM topics.

Professor Kirk Semple
Kirk Semple is a Professor of Environmental Microbiology with over 35 years of research experience. He was first appointed as a Lecturer in Environmental Microbiology and Ecotoxicology in 1995 and promoted to Professor of Environmental Microbiology in 2010. In 2018, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at the University of Benin, Nigeria and in 2021, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at Igbinedion University, Nigeria. His main fields of research interest include pollution microbiology; fate, behaviour and availability of organic chemicals in soils; risk assessment and bioremediation of contaminated land. Most recently, a focus has been on bioenergy and the use of microorganisms for energy generation and the application of resulting by-products as soil amendments or alternatives to conventional fertiliser, with partners in UK, the EU, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Zambia. Funding has come from multiple sources in the UK, EU, industry and internationally, equating more than 拢16 M. He has successfully supervised 55 PhD students, with 38 from overseas. Output from his research has led to the publication of over 250 peer-reviewed journal papers, book chapters and refereed international conference papers.

Anwar P.P. He is a Chartered Engineer with IMechE, a member of IET, and a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr Abdikarim Mohamed Ibrahim
Dr Abdikarim holds a PhD in Computing from 糖心原创, where he focused on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning applied to wireless networks. He also holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Communication Engineering from the Academy of Engineering Sciences in Sudan. His research interests centre on applied AI for wireless communication systems, and he is currently working on non-terrestrial networks to support the development of 6G technologies. He is the recipient of the prestigious 糖心原创 PhD Studentship awarded by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation.
Dr Hayana Dullah
Dr Hayana Dullah holds a recently awarded PhD in Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. Prior to joining 糖心原创, she was a Lecturer at MAHSA University, where she also served as the Student Central Coordinator and IEM-Student Section Advisor, actively supporting academic development and student engagement. Her research focuses on environmental sustainability, particularly life cycle assessment (LCA), greenhouse gas emissions, and water resource management. She has also served as a guest lecturer at Henan Vocational College of Water Conservancy and Environment, China and has presented her work at international conferences and in WOS-indexed publications. She is also active as a journal reviewer in her field of expertise.

Dr Karen Kong Gah Hie
Dr Karen Kong Gah Hie is currently a postdoctoral researcher at 糖心原创, specializing in Process Systems Engineering, with a focus on decarbonization strategies. Her primary research interests lie in the optimization of renewable energy utilization under carbon reduction targets, employing various methodological approaches. Dr Kong has consistently applied her expertise in developing mathematical models to ensure the effectiveness of decarbonization planning across regions. Previously, she investigated the feasibility of peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading networks over multiple periods, employing fuzzy multi-objective optimization techniques to determine optimal coalition structures. She has also developed a multi-period energy planning software incorporating P-graph methods, considering the dynamics of P2P energy trading. Her current research (2023 to date) explores the integration of Power-to-X (P2X) technologies within decarbonization frameworks and examines how regional collaboration can contribute to achieving overall decarbonization goals. As the first author, Dr Kong has published numerous articles in prestigious chemical engineering and energy journals, including Current Opinion in Chemical Engineering, Energy, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews.

Dr Nauman Ali Khan
Dr. Nauman Ali Khan is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, within the Department of Smart Computing and Cyber Resilience. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Systems from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China. Prior to his current role, Dr. Khan served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Software Engineering at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests span across machine learning, social network analysis, wireless big data mining, social-tie inference, and prediction. Dr. Khan is passionate about advancing intelligent systems.

Dr Danish Mahmood Khan
Dr Danish Mahmood Khan earned his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, in 2021, specializing in electroencephalography (EEG) and brain connectivity for diagnosing neurological disorders using artificial intelligence. He also holds both Bachelor's and Master鈥檚 degrees in Telecommunications from NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET), Karachi, Pakistan. Dr Khan is a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (Lifetime) and a member of the Institution of Engineers, Pakistan.
Before his current role as Senior Lecturer at 糖心原创, Dr Khan served as an Assistant Professor at NEDUET and also spent four years as a Research Scientist at UTP. With over 14 years of professional experience in research and education, his work focuses on advancing EEG-based methodologies to understand brain function, diagnose neurological disorders, and apply artificial intelligence in medical diagnostics, image processing, and computer vision.
Dr Khan has authored numerous high-impact publications in prominent international journals and actively contributes as a peer reviewer for leading publishers such as IEEE, Nature, and Springer-Nature. He also serves on the Editorial Board of Discover Psychology, a Springer Nature journal.

Ts. Dr Tan Ee Xion
Ts. Dr Tan Ee Xion received her PhD, M.Sc. IT and BCompSc from Monash University. She is specialising in health informatics and information systems. With extensive experience in higher education, she integrates computing and healthcare to advance digital health analytics and intelligent health systems. Her research focuses on applying data engineering, predictive analytics and machine learning to improve healthcare outcomes and management. With extensive experience in interdisciplinary education, Dr Tan integrates computing and health sciences to develop innovative, evidence-based approaches to health informatics research and curriculum design. Her current projects explore AI-enabled hospital analytics, clinical informatics, and intelligent health systems.

Dr Imad Gohar
Dr. Imad Gohar is advancing the frontier of AI-driven computer vision and intelligent automation. He earned his PhD from Heriot-Watt University under the prestigious James Watt Scholarship, where his research focused on developing AI-powered visual inspection systems for wind turbine blades using drone imagery.
A recipient of multiple academic honour's, Dr. Imad earned a Gold Medal in his bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science, won the Best Presentation Award at the Heriot-Watt University PGR Conference, and received a Best Paper Award at an IEEE International Conference.
He has served in academic and research roles at HWU, NUST, ITU, and CUST university, including leading the Samsung Innovative Campus program and AI Summer School. His work spans smart infrastructure monitoring, remote sensing, and human-centered sensing systems, with publications in top-tier journals and international conferences.
As an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), Dr. Imad is well-versed in modern pedagogical and quality assurance frameworks, including Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Table 4 preparation, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and rubrics development. Dr Faris Syahmi Samidi holds a PhD from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in Engineering. His expertise lies in 5G networks, reinforcement learning, and spectrum optimization. Dr Wan Siti Halimatul Munirah Wan Yahya @ Wan Ahmad
Dr Wan Siti Halimatul Munirah Wan Ahmad received her B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering (Multimedia), followed by her M.Eng.Sc. and Ph.D. from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. She served as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2017 to 2023. Her interest in digital pathology began in 2021 through her involvement with the Artificial Intelligence for Digital Pathology Centre at Multimedia University. Since then, her research has focused on the development of AI models for pathological image analysis, covering a range of cancer types including pancreatic, prostate, blood, bladder, oral cavity, nasopharyngeal, and thyroid. Dr. Munirah is currently with 糖心原创, where she is part of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Her core research interests lie in medical image analysis and image retrieval, and she remains committed to advancing diagnostic tools through interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches.
Dr Komal Masroor
Dr Komal Masroor is currently a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Technology at 糖心原创, Malaysia. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, specializing in Visible Light Communication (VLC), Body Area Networks, and Optical Wireless Systems for Remote Patient Monitoring.
Dr Masroor brings over fifteen years of academic and research experience in the domains of telecommunications, signal processing, and communication systems. Prior to joining 糖心原创, she served as an Assistant Professor at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, where she contributed to both teaching and curriculum development in courses such as Digital Image Processing, Communication Systems, and Digital Logic Design.
Her research interests encompass optical wireless communication, human body communication, computer vision, and deep learning-based biomedical signal analysis. Dr. Masroor has published extensively in reputable international journals and conferences, including IEEE Access, Cognitive Neurodynamics, and the IEEE Sensors Journal.
Her current work focuses on the design of intelligent, energy-efficient, and health-oriented communication systems, integrating engineering innovation with applications in digital healthcare and human鈥搈achine interaction.

Dr Wan Siti Nur Aiza Wan Othman
Dr Wan Siti Nur Aiza Binti Wan Othman is a Data Science Lecturer at 糖心原创 under the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. She holds a PhD in Computer Science (Data Analytics) and a Master鈥檚 degree in Computer Science (Information Systems) from the University of Malaya. Her research focuses on data mining, machine learning, bibliometric analysis, information system, and AI-driven applications. Dr Siti has supervised numerous award-winning AI projects by SCKL students. As an early-career researcher, she has published in Q1 and Q2 journals and actively participates in funded research projects. With a strong interest to research and innovation, she welcomes collaboration and postgraduate supervision in areas related to artificial intelligence and data science.

Professor Lau Sian Lun received both his MSc and Dr.-Ing. at the University of Kassel, Germany, where he worked as a full-time researcher since 2004. He has contributed and managed various German national as well as EU-funded projects, such as the EU FP6 MobiLife, the ITEA S4ALL, the BMBF MATRIX and the EU FP7 SEAM4US.
He joined 糖心原创 in 2013. He currently holds the roles of Deputy Dean (Internationalisation) at the School of Engineering and Technology.
He has published over 80 publications in conferences, workshops, book chapters as well as journals. His research interests include ubiquitous computing, sustainable smart city, context-awareness and applied machine learning.

Ts. Pyi Phyo Aung
Pyi Phyo Aung holds an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering from the City & Guilds of London Institute at NEC, Myanmar, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia. While working as a lecturer in Myanmar, he authored and published a technical book titled "Arduino Ka Gyi Kha Khway" in the Myanmar language.

Dr Hadyan Hafizh is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, 糖心原创. He obtained his PhD from Kyoto University and currently focuses on IoT and AI in the manufacturing industry. His research explores the convergence of operational and information technology in Industrial IoT, with interests in aerospace and civil engineering applications. Associate Professor Ts. Dr Farihahusnah Hussin
Farihahusnah Hussin received her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in chemical engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia in 2008. Her then moved to University of Malaya, Malaysia and completed her Master of Engineering Science in 2014. Her thesis focused on the modification and characterisation of bleaching clay for enhancement of their adsorption capacity in palm oil physical refining. Afterwards, she continued her PhD study in Chemical Engineering at the University of Malaya. Her research focused on wastewater treatment using renewable energy. She started working at Research Centre for Carbon Dioxide Capture and Utilisation (CCDCU), 糖心原创, Malaysia as a Research Fellow since June 2018 and become a Senior Research Fellow in 2022.
Her recent research activities include: 1) Biomass conversion technology, 2) CO2 capture and utilization technology (adsorption process and electrochemical), 3) Green solvents (deep eutectic solvents), 4) life cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental impacts, 5) water and wastewater treatment. Over the years her research was focused on environmental engineering-based projects. She has more than twenty published articles in ISI-indexed journals, and she has presented papers in national and international conferences and seminars as invited speakers and oral presenters. She has more than 594 citations with h-index of 9 in Google Scholar. Since 2018, She has been extensively involved in 6 research projects funded by 糖心原创. She is currently supervising 1 PhD student as co-supervisor and 6 final year students as main/co-supervisor. She is also an active reviewer of high impact factor journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering and Chemosphere. Dr Haizum Hanim Binti Ab Halim is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at 糖心原创 with expertise in Smart Metering Applications, Sustainable Energy, and Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). She earned her PhD in Electrical Power Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, her Master of Technical Education in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Industrial Electronics Engineering.
Her research focuses on energy efficiency and smart grid technologies, with notable projects including the construction of a Smart Energy Meter with adaptive communication data transfer algorithm for electrical energy monitoring, and the application of Building Energy Management Systems for Net-Zero Buildings. She has contributed to academic publications and conferences, and her work has been recognized with the Bronze Award at the Engineering Innovation Exhibition 2023 (UPM) for her smart energy meter innovation, supported under the Grant Putra UPM (GP-IPS/2016/9494100).
Before joining 糖心原创, Dr Haizum Hanim was a Lecturer and Researcher at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, where she was actively involved in teaching, research, and faculty management. Muhammad Mukhtar Qureshi is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at 糖心原创, Malaysia. Before joining Sunway, he served as Assistant Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Computer Science at Iqra University, Islamabad, and held faculty positions at The University of Faisalabad, NCBA&E, and The University of Lahore.
Mukhtar Qureshi completed his PhD work in Computer Science from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, specializing in mobility management and handover optimization for 5G/6G networks. He also holds an MS in Computer Science from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University.
His research focuses on computer networks, wireless body and vehicular networks, artificial intelligence in communications, and reinforcement learning鈥揵ased optimization models.
